  • Environment

    Green leaf.

Environmental conservation is of key importance within Ricoh’s corporate strategy.

At Ricoh Europe, we make sure that each and every one of our employees has the opportunity to enhance existing attributes and develop new skills. Part of our CSR strategy encompasses “the 3 Ps” (People, Profit, Planet,) a three-pronged approach to development. And in 2010, the Institute of IT Training awarded our in-house training division, the Ricoh Academy, three awards: Trainer of the Year, Training Department of the Year and Staff Development Programme of the Year.

Our Most Important Resource

We recognise that we deliver the best results for our customers by treating everyone with respect. We embrace diversity and offer an environment where employees thrive, feel challenged, can be innovative and grow within their roles. We also offer our people a learning culture where they can share ideas openly and work in an autonomous setting to move ideas forward.

An Open Dialogue Policy

What our people say really matters to us. That’s why we encourage an open dialogue through forums like the European Employee Forum and our annual Employee Survey. We use these to actively engage staff in continuously reviewing our management strategies and processes and to pro-actively represent employees across the Ricoh Group.

The Community Matters

In 2009, more than 15% of our employees were involved in community projects around Europe helping to make a difference within their local community. And by finding projects and providing our staff with the time to participate, we’re showing our commitment to each area we operate in.
